About the Instructor:

Sandra Kelch explores pattern and repetition on both a formal and conceptual level. She places a strong emphasis on experimentation; creating her own tools and techniques, and exploring the ambiguity of mixing digital and manual processes. Sandra’s graphic design background, her world travels, observations of cultural patterns and love for textiles inspire her works on paper. Sandra has two degrees from The Cooper Union School of Art (BFA) and The Cranbrook Academy of Art (MFA), and is currently working toward her Ph.D. in Printmaking from Australia National University. She has been the recipient of the Artspan Selections award, of a residency at Anderson Ranch, and has exhibited her work internationally.
