Eyes, noses, bodies, legs, hands, hair and more! Learn how to draw the things that you see in the world. Have you ever wondered how to make a cat look like a cat or a face look like someone you know? At Camp Kala you will learn the tips and tricks that artists use to make drawings and paintings that look how you want them to. Practice and get better at drawing techniques then transform your sketches into paintings, sculpture and beyond!

About the Instructor:

Aliza Cohen is an artist and educator. She currently teaches both 2D and 3D Art at Albany High School. Her approach to art education is focused on teaching skills to empower students while encouraging them to explore and engage with the artistic process. Aliza holds an MFA in Painting from Boston University and received her teaching credential from Mills College. When she isn’t teaching or making paintings at her art studio in Berkeley she is adventuring around the Bay Area with her partner and two lovely children.
