Teen Studio: Illustration 101

In this fall intensive workshop, explore illustration as a way of observing and drawing references to the natural world to tell a story or communicate an idea. Develop your artistic skills through technical exercises, life drawings, in-class discussions, and constructive critique to inform your draftsmanship. Learn how to train the eye to read lines, shapes, and other modes of representation. Participants will take inspiration from prominent styles of past and contemporary artists that have shaped the creative landscape as we know it. Join us at Kala and create dynamic works of art while diving into the creative process!
