Expand your drawing skills with photo-editing technology for a new take on photo-realism. To achieve greater depth and vibrancy, you will also experiment with the textural properties of Sumi ink, and apply color theory to life drawing. Following contemporary trends that integrate pattern, cartooning, and abstraction, you will learn how to combine techniques and genres into complex and rich works of art that will enliven your college portfolio.
This class requires that students have some foundation in drawing.
