Learn how to create your own paper using meaningful articles of clothing. The workshop will introduce students to the history of traditional hand papermaking, as well as the equipment needed to make paper. Students will employ processes learned to transform an article of clothing into sheets of paper, and will come away with a knowledge of contemporary applications of sheet formation and pulp printing and techniques to produce a series of pulp prints and paper sheets.
