Artists with previous experience in printmaking will have the opportunity to explore various ways of making works on paper using collage and chine colle in this unique class. Learn new ways of using glue, embossing and monoprinting from an inspirational painter and printmaker. Enrollment is limited to 7 participants.
Inez Storer is an acclaimed artist whose poetic artist books and richly colored prints are collected nationwide. Recent exhibitions include the Fresno Art Museum; a retrospective at the University of Santa Clara; a traveling show through the De Saisset Museum; Grover Thurston, Seattle; Beppu Wiarda, Portland; Marin MOCA, Novato; Catharine Clark, San Francisco. Storer received her MA from San Francisco State University and her BA from Dominican College in San Rafael. A recipient of the Pollock/Krasner grant, Storer has taught at SFSU, SFAI, Sonoma State University, and the University of California at Davis and Santa Cruz. www.inezstorer.com
