Intro to Screenprint (May)

Intro to Screenprint

In this intensive course, students will learn all of the basics of screenprint from start to finish. This is a great class for beginners or those who need a refresher. We will cover both digital and experimental/hand drawn stencil creation and then students will learn how to create screens. We will cover all of the basics and introduce some more advanced techniques, such as photographic images, half-tones, using 2-colors, and registration. Come prepared with a specific project that they hope to complete, such as a set of napkins or tea towels, prints on paper or t-shirts. With an emphasis on printing, students will leave with a basic understanding of this fundamental process.
