Intro to Figure Drawing (HYBRID)

The human figure has so much to offer for both beginners and seasoned artists. This hybrid remote and in person, 6 week introductory course will lead you through basic figure and portrait drawing techniques using photographs, videos as well as live professional nude models. We will focus on line, shading techniques, and proportions while studying human skeletal and muscular anatomy as well as renditions of the figure by the old masters. Students will begin with graphite and in the last class will have freedom to experiment with other mediums and
develop their own figure drawing style.
