Mixed Media Collage

The principal goal of this course is to integrate traditional and innovative collage making techniques. While images and texts from printed matter are part of the process, the emphasis will be on using those materials in combination with flat objects, as well as painted, drawn, and photographed components. Utilizing image transfer techniques and unusual support materials such as Plexiglas and aluminum will also be included in the assignments. The main objective of the class is an innovative and personal approach to all projects introduced.
