Camp Kala Online • The Past & Present: Draw & Paint What You See • Ages 5-10

Looking to art history for inspiration, you will render in wet and dry media to create large and small scale artworks. Using materials such as watercolor, ink, oil, and chalk pastels, enjoy a week of experimentation with fun art techniques and materials used by various modern and contemporary artists. Explore diverse imagery and themes related to the city, people, animals, and nature.

Tuition includes art supplies that can be picked up curbside at Kala or shipped to you for an additional fee. Classes are twice a day from 10 – 11:30 am and 1- 2:30 pm with a break in between to enjoy lunch and free time.

About the Instructor:

Jocelyn V. Jones is a Bay Area native from Berkeley, California.  She studied fine art at San Francisco State University, graduating in 2009 with two Bachelor of Arts degrees in art studio practice and cinema production.  She is a multi-disciplinary artist, working primarily in painting and drawing figurative work. She teaches art to youth of all ages throughout the Bay Area.
