Screenprinted Textiles

With a focus on textiles and patterns, this class will refresh/teach all of the basics of silkscreen printing through hands-on, DIY and experimental techniques. After creating designs and transferring your work to a silkscreen, we will spend the rest of the class printing on a variety of surfaces including clothing and yardage of fabric. This class will introduce pattern design and industry techniques, but will focus on experimental, alternative and flexible screen set up. Students will leave the class ready to keep printing on any surface and in any studio. No experience necessary.
