Screenprinting As Painting II

By popular demand, we added a part II to the Screenprinting as Painting class! This weekend intensive (6 hours each day) offers students the space and support to expand in the possibilities of experimental silkscreen printing. Using the foundations from Screenprinting as Painting I, participants will develop their own two or three layer print with support from the instructor. There will be an emphasis on exploring strategies to make one-of-a-kind iterations across a collection of prints, including monoprinting, reductive printmaking, and advanced color mixing.

**This class is most suitable for those who have taken Screenprinting as Painting I in the past, or have adjacent screenprinting experience. Please email classes@kala.org if you’re unsure if the class is a good fit for you.

Accessibility – Please email classes@kala.org prior to enrolling so we can assess if we are able to accommodate you (and your service animal) safely and efficiently.
