Video Art: Intro to Video Editing (ONLINE)

In this course, participants will get familiar with Adobe Premiere Pro and learn video editing techniques. While participants will learn the basics of non linear video editing, participants will look through various examples of video art and different examples of art works that utilize images and videos in the time based art form.

Access to Adobe Premiere Pro is provided for the duration of the class.

About the Instructor:

Efe Ozmen (Adana, 1990) is a San Francisco based Artist and Designer. He received his MFA from California College of the Arts. He creates time based work questioning the quotidian movements and rhythms in the light of Body/Mind duality through employing movement, performance and video. He has exhibited his work in various galleries in San Francisco, such as Embark Gallery, No Parking gallery etc. His video work, Video Can Not, was shown on the Salesforce Tower. He has worked as teaching assistant in various theory and studio film courses, and has taught video making and production workshops at Randall Museum.
