Community & Family Workshops

Join us for a fun, filled afternoon of learning and creating artwork together. Community members and families are invited to participate in hands on workshops and activities that connect to our exhibitions on view and/or explore themes related to  family, legacy, home, and community as we learn new artmaking skills.

Community Workshop: Scratch Art
This free workshop is inspired by the scratch art process and themes related to the exhibition currently on view, One Year-Jos Sances. Join the artist and Education team for a fun afternoon of artmaking! Workshop materials provided. *This community workshop is all ages (5 yrs and up). Children must be accompanied by an adult. Two workshop times are available at 2pm and 2:45pm.

Mask wearing indoors is required for all visitors in Kala’s gallery and community classroom. Event participants will be asked for proof of vaccination.
