CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

Kala reserves the right to cancel any class due to low enrollment or other circumstances. In this case, you can request a class credit or a tuition refund. Transfers may be available, space permitting. Classes are not prorated, nor session dates individualized for any reason.  No refunds will be issued for days missed due to illness, family travel, or any no-show of any kind.

Adult Classes $35 administrative fee will be charged for adult class cancellations.  If you cancel your registration 14 days before the first day of class, the remainder of your class fee will be refunded, or you can apply your full class tuition as a credit towards another Kala class. With fewer than 14 days notice, you will only receive credit if we are able to fill your spot with another student from the waitlist. Cancellations requested less than 72 hrs before the first day of class or on and after the first day of class are not eligible for class credit.

Youth Arts Classes $50 administrative fee, per participant registered, will be charged for class cancellations requested by families. If you cancel your registration 30 days before the first day of class, the remainder of your class fee will be refunded, or you can apply the full class tuition as a credit towards another Kala class. With fewer than 14 days notice, you will only receive class credit if we are able to fill your spot with another participant from the waitlist. Cancellations requested less than 72 hrs before the first day of class or on and after the first day of class are not eligible for class credit.

Because of our small group sizes, we are greatly impacted by mid-program cancellations. Nevertheless, we understand that the needs of families may change during the school year. We request at least a two-week courtesy notice via email before cancellations to gisela@kala.org.

Please note: Contact specific programs for tuition payment plans, credits, cancellation updates, and any COVID-19 related updates. All credits must be used by the end of the following class season (adult classes) or Sept 2023 (youth classes).
