Join us for the launch party for Dia Bondi’s first book Ask Like an Auctioneer, October 27th, 6-9pm in the Kala Gallery. It will be a night of art, food, ideas and a little bit of dancing – Get your tickets now!
Profits benefit Kala Art Institute– Kala’s annual fundraiser was Dia’s first auctioneering event and is where the idea for the book all started. Your donations via ticket sales will help keep Kala thriving in the East Bay.

Dia Bondi, Communications Catalyst works with high impact professionals to help them speak powerfully in their leadership. After attending Auctioneering school and auctioneering as an impact hobby, she translated what she learned into her first book Ask Like an Auctioneer: How to Ask For More and Get It Publishing Nov 14th, 2023.
Maria Ross will be our be our EMCEE and lead a conversation with Dia about her book, take questions from the audience and set up a short reading. A TEDx speaker, leadership trainer, author, and empathy advocate Maria believes cash flow, creativity, and compassion are not mutually exclusive.
Maria is the author the best-seller The Empathy Edge: Harnessing the Value of Compassion as an Engine for Success and also hosts The Empathy Edge podcast. Her next book, The Empathy Delemma is due out fall 2024.
Arthur Leon Adams III (aka Baby A) toured the world in a space-themed rock n’ roll band, made more music videos than he can count, composed scores for everything from short films to broadcast TV commercials, and produced and directed videos for some of the biggest companies in the world.
