2010 FELLOWSHIP APPLICATION GUIDELINES

To be considered for the 2010 Fellowship Awards, please complete the online application form at the link below.

*Read the guidelines before you start the online application process.

Submit the following items to Kala Art Institute through the
online application form:

• Project Descriptions (maximum 2000 characters - app. 400 words) discussing the work you intend to pursue at Kala. Please include the list of equipment and facilities expected for your proposed project in the description.

• Artist Statement (maximum 2000 characters- app. 400 words).

• Artist’s résumé (either .pdf or .doc file).

• Work Samples: JPEG images uploaded online or DVD. Please do not send both.

JPEG Images
Upload 15 JPEG images including details. All images must be saved with dimensions of 1900 x 1900 pixels with a black matt at 72 dpi. Image uploading process requires the information of each image. Specific dimensions for each work must be included.

DVD
Mail or hand-deliver a DVD. Only for time-based artworks. 10 minutes maximum. The online application form is still required.
