2005 Fellowship winners
Kala Fellowships are awarded annually to eight competition winners and several Honorable Mention artists who also serve as alternates. Applicants working in printmaking, book arts, electronic/digital media (video, sound, animation, etc.) and installation art are selected through an international call-for-entries competition. The Fellowship competition is juried each year by Kala's Executive Director, Artistic Director and Program Manager. In 2005, the eight artists selected as winners will receive a $2500. stipend and a six-month studio residency at Kala. In the summer of 2006, each of the Fellowship Artists will present their new work in a group exhibition at the Kala gallery.
