Learn the art of digital color correction! This class introduces students to the possibilities and pitfalls of digital output on the Roland and the Epson 7600, our two wide format digital printers. We will cover the tools most commonly used to adjust color on-screen for output, concentrating on demystifying with inkjet color. Proofing will be on provided 8.5x11" archival paper. Please bring color digital files or material to be scanned. Intermediate to advanced Photoshop experience required. Enrollment is limited to 4 students.
Kris Stoll is a photographer and printmaker who utilizes traditional photography, digital imaging, and serigraphy in her series of etched-velvet fabric photographs. She received her BFA from the San Francisco Art Institute and she is currently digital imager and printmaker at Trillium Press in Brisbane. For the past three years she has specialized in digital collaboration with painters and printmakers using Photoshop and Iris printers.
