PHOTOLITHOGRAPHY AS DRAWING
with Michael Krueger
14 hour workshop
Class #36: July 30-31: Saturday-Sunday 10am - 5pm
Tuition $210 Materials $70 Total Cost $280

Photolithography is arguably one of the easiest and surest methods of lithographic printing. This relatively non-toxic print process does not require the traditional etching stages inherent in stone or plate lithography. Students will explore a myriad of drawing materials and surfaces that can be used to create a variety of effects on the photolithographic plates. Exposing and developing these plates takes only minutes and they can go directly to the press and be printed. Also learn how to develop color images and combine this technique with other processes such as inkjet prints. Students will be encouraged to explore their personal approaches to the process.
