Pronto Plates are polymer plates that are printed from computer images on a laser printer. They are used to make multiple prints using a method that is similar to lithographic printing. This is an inexpensive and simple way to make prints that look like photoetchings. The class will learn how to create images on the computer, make the pronto plate, and then make prints from the plates. No solvents or toxic material will be used. Basic knowledge of Photoshop is required. Enrollment is limited to 6 students.
