Learn this alternative method of presenting works on paper with no need for glass or framing. Rifodero is a unique method for adhering artwork to a linen support with rice or wheat flour paste and then mounting the artwork and linen support to stretcher bars. Sandro Martini lives and works in Milan, Italy. Internationally known for his paintings, collages, prints, sculptures, installations and frescos, he visits Kala Art Institute once a year to teach the traditional European techniques of Fresco and Rifodero.
