Saturday, June 18 at 2:00 pm.

In association with Kala Gallery’s current exhibition, Systems of Collecting, a panel discussion on the topic of collecting and collections will be presented on Saturday, June 18 at 2:00 pm.

The Panel Discussion will include exhibition artists Mari Andrews, Binh Danh, Matthew Troy Mullins, Jeanne O’Connor and Ethan Turpin. Lindsay Irving, from the Visualization & Outreach Program at the Center for Applied Biodiversity Informatics at California Academy of Sciences, will join the artists to offer her thoughts on institutional collections and presentations and collaborations with artists.

Exhibition curator and Kala Gallery Director, Lauren Davies, will moderate the panel discussion. The event is open to the public and is free of charge.
