Call for Artists – The SF Central Subway Public Art Program

The Central Subway Public Art Program which is sponsered by the San Francisco Public Arts Commission will be funding Public Art and Public art programs over the next nine years.

The program will be holding several meetings in February and March for the Community  interested in learning about the program and Artist interested in participating.

The meetings will take place on:

  • Tuesday, February 19th: Meeting for the general public at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, 701 Mission Street and Third Street, 6:00 to 7:30 PM.
  • Tuesday, March 4th: Workshop for artists interested in applying to be a candidate for the Central Subway Public Art Program at Bayanihan Community Center, 1010 Mission Street at Sixth Street, 4:00 to 6:00 PM.
  • Tuesday, March 18th: Workshop for artists interested in applying to be a candidate for the Central Subway Public Art Program at Chinese Culture Center, in the Hilton Hotel at 750 Kearny Street, 3rd Floor, 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
