Noah Wilson

Noah Wilson’s work incorporates both traditional gelatin mono-print photography and direct application of charcoal. His photographic pieces inquire into the observer’s relationship with the uncertainty of his images. He often reveals only portions of a scene, leaving the missing parts for the viewer to complete, through suggestion, inference, or subjective creativity.

Wilson holds an MFA from San Jose State University and has completed a residency at the San Francisco Recycling and Disposal, Inc. He has had solo shows at the Haines Gallery and Dolby Chadwick Gallery in San Francisco and been included in many others. He currently teaches photography at Foothill College, in Los Altos Hills.

Wilson is a current artist-in-residence at Kala.
