Kyung Sook Koo
Koo Kyung Sook explores new possibilities for the representation of existence and identity through a combination of photographic and digital processes. Through a process of using her entire body as her main drawing tool, she acknowledges traditions of figurative representation while addressing the speed and dislocations of contemporary experience. Koo received her MFA from the Cranbrook Academy of Art and was recently included in exhibitions at the San Jose Institute of Contemporary Art, JAY JAY Gallery in Sacramento, and the College of Notre Dame.
