Laura Splan is a multi-disciplinary artist with an informed background in science. Building on this educational background, her works explore anatomical and medical imagery that fluctuates between seduction and repulsion, comfort and alienation. Laura received her MFA from Mills College and her BFA from the University of California, Irvine.
