ABOUT OUR COLLECTION

Kala Art Institute boasts an extensive and diverse selection of more than 1800 original prints on consignment. From more than 100 artists, including Seiko Tachibana, Kazuko Watanabe, Amanda Knowles, Cynthia Ona Innis, Unai San Martin, Barbara Foster, Katherine Westerhout, Robin McCloskey and Endi Poskovic, this group of artwork includes a variety of works on paper, including archival digital prints, monotypes, intaglio and relief prints, as well as lithographs and screenprints. Stylistically, the works are extremely varied, offering a full range from realism to abstraction. Because of Kala’s close contact with the artists, the selection of artwork for consignment is updated on an ongoing basis. These original prints, housed in Kala’s archive, are available for viewing Tuesday through Saturday by appointment.
