Camp Kala 2026 Wk8 • Making Our Mark: Printmaking • Ages 6-11 (WAITLIST ONLY)

Discover the joy and magic of printmaking! Using found objects such as string, fabric, leaves, Legos, and bubble wrap, we will explore different ways of making marks using unconventional materials and printing surfaces. We will learn the basic printmaking techniques used in monoprinting, make our own collagraph and relief prints, and experiment with collage using positive and negative shapes, texture, and color to create fun and vibrant landscapes, portraits, monsters, and more!

About the Instructor:

Jennifer Mazzucco (She/Her) has taught diverse age groups in art classrooms, non-profit organizations, studios, and beyond for 26 years. She received her BFA from Hartford University, an MST from Pace University in New York, and studied at Studio Art Center International in Florence, Italy. Nurturing creativity and fostering community is vital in her role as an artist and educator. Centering on students’ individual needs, Jennifer combines discovery learning with step-by-step instruction for skill building and self-development of visual expression. Jennifer has a prolific art practice and exhibits her work in group and solo shows throughout the East Bay where she lives with her 3-legged rescue pup.
