By Car: To reach the gallery from Highway 80/580, exit at Ashby Avenue, continue East on Ashby until San Pablo Avenue. Take a left on San Pablo, heading North. We are located halfway down the block on the left-hand side of the street, at 2990 San Pablo Ave. There is street parking on and around San Pablo Avenue. If you park in the back lot, please walk around the building to our public entrance at 2990 San Pablo.
By Public Transit: Take BART to 19th St. Oakland. On the street, catch the 72 or 72R AC Transit bus, ride it to the intersection of San Pablo and Ashby, and get off. OR, take BART to the Ashby station, walk or bike down Russell St. (parallel to Ashby one block north) to San Pablo Ave, and turn left to 2990 San Pablo Ave to reach the gallery.

Kala’s Print Studio and Digital Lab are located at 1060 Heinz Avenue, Berkeley, CA 94710.
On Heinz Ave, mid-way through the block between San Pablo and 10th, go up the short flight of outside stairs and dial “002” on the buzzer to be let into the building. Our main printmaking studio and media lab are on the 3rd floor. If you need special assistance (e.g. the elevator), please call 510-549-2977 or 510-841-7000.

By Car: from I-80, exit at Ashby Ave., drive east (away from the Bay) to San Pablo Ave. Turn left onto San Pablo, and left again at the next street, Heinz Ave. We are located on Heinz Ave. between San Pablo and 10th Street. There is street parking on Heinz Ave., or adjacent blocks.
