Nugging – Works by Karen Kersten
Kala Art Institute is proud to present new works by Karen Kersten at Milvia/ Addison Windows located at 2100 Milvia Street, Berkeley.
Nugging (c-prints, origami paper) is a non-conclusive sentence. It begins and tries and continues, while retaining rhythm. It is searching for the most appropriate attempt, and then lands on another approach – perhaps one that is more microscopic or intrinsic, or at least one that was not initially fathomed. Here, outward spilling, results from an inward pull.
