Response was initiated as an invitation for artists to create new work in response to Kala’s auction, and in the context of our new lived experience during the pandemic. It soon changed as a way for artists to express themselves in the wake of the Black Lives Matter Movement earlier this spring. This exhibition is a combination of how we respond to our ever changing lived experience.

Artists were given the option to promote organizations they wish to support. If able, please consider making a donation to any of the following organizations:
