Audrey Chung

Audrey Chung’s work in film, video and sculpture installation defies easy definition. Just try to imagine a serious artistic vision that encompasses the use of parsley, underwear, perfume aspirators, disco balls and cheese! At Kala her upcoming fellowship project will reshuffle a fifty-year stockpile of high school yearbook portraits into a kind of choreography of archival desire. Her filmography includes screenings at the San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival, CinemaTexas in Austin and New Langton Arts in San Francisco, Audrey received her MFA from the University of California, San Diego.
