Art I Kala 2018 Spring Gala and Auction
Kala Art Institute and Honorary Auction Chairs Judy Gonzalez-Massih & Kava Massih invite you to join us for Art I Kala 2018, an exhibition, auction and gala benefit to support Kala’s artistic, cultural, and educational programs.
Celebrating Kala’s 44th year, this special event brings together Kala’s creative community and features the inventive and meaningful art being made right here in the Bay Area. A three week-long exhibition in the Kala Gallery will culminate in a rousing auction and gala benefit for Kala on April 21, 2018. We are thrilled this year to honor Taraneh Hemami and Mildred Howard as the 2018 recipients of Kala Master Artists Award.
This year we are introducing a special limited edition Emily Gui cyanotype produced especially for the auction. Reserve your tickets now at the VIP and Patron Membership levels to receive one of just thirty prints available (first come, first serve. You can pick up your print at the gala).
All proceeds from this event support educational and cultural programs that directly serve artists, children, and the community-at-large.
